We are now a part of the Save a Label Program with Best Choice! All you have to do is simply save your labels from any Best Choice product, and drop them off to us here at the shelter! For every 1,000 labels we save, the shelter will receive a $30 donation! What a simple at no cost way for you to help the lost and homeless pets!

Get your friends together and have a newspaper party! You can help the animals by unfolding papers for the puppies. By you doing this, the staff is able to spend more time caring for the animals.
Participate in our Summer Reading Program. We have teamed with Union Scenic Regional Library for a Read to Pets Program! Help pets by socializing with them, and earn a special badge for the Animal Category in your Reading Program. On Thursdays from 1:00-3:00pm, children can come to the shelter and read to pets!
